Katy is an inspiring vocalist, guitarist, bassist, and educator who helps students connect with music in creative and meaningful ways. A graduate of Goldsmiths, University of London, with a First Class Honours BMus degree, Katy brings her extensive performance and sound engineering experience into her teaching to provide lessons that are engaging, fun, and tailored to each student's goals.
As a performer, Katy has appeared at renowned venues like Ronnie Scott's and the EFG London Jazz Festival. She has also worked as a sound engineer at Gallery Studios, collaborating with industry professionals to craft high-quality recordings. Katy's passion for blending live performance with music technology influences her unique approach to education.
Katy has experience leading band workshops and improvisation sessions for teenagers through the Goldsmiths Alchemy Project, helping young learners build confidence and performance skills. She also runs a children's choir for ages 5-10, making group singing fun and engaging through breathing exercises and rhythm training.

Katy's vocal lessons focus on developing vocal strength, genre adaptability, vocal elasticity and range, and improvisation. Taking a student-centred approach, she tailors each lesson to the individual's interests, nurturing creativity and personal expression.
