Laertis is a versatile and creative teacher at Inspired Playing who brings a deep passion for music and expression to his lessons. With a rich background as a freelance musician, songwriter, and producer, Laertis believes that music is not just about playing notes, but about telling stories and expressing emotions. His teaching style integrates music theory and harmony with practical playing, ensuring that students of all levels, from beginners to advanced, can find their unique voice through music.
In his lessons, Laertis covers a wide range of styles, from folk, rock, and pop to jazz, funk, and Latin music. Educated at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London, where he earned a BMUS(Hons) in Popular Music Performance with a focus on arranging and composing for film, Laertis has been actively involved in the music industry since 2016. His experience spans from private guitar lessons in Athens and London to leading music groups at community centers like Raw Material. He has also worked as a tutor with institutions like the UK Study Centre and GSL Education.
