Sasha - Emerging Artist

Sasha is a dedicated and highly accomplished young pianist with nearly 15 years of playing and performing experience. She holds an ARSM Piano Performance Diploma and is currently working towards her LRSM Diploma.
She performs regularly in concerts and festivals across London and was selected to take part in the first season of Channel 4's The Piano, an exciting opportunity that allowed her to share her musicianship with a wider audience.
Alongside performing, Sasha has developed a strong interest in teaching and enjoys supporting students as they begin their musical journeys.

Teaching experience & approach:

Sasha's lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and encouraging. She focuses on helping students develop a secure foundation in rhythm, reading music, and basic technique, while building confidence and curiosity from the very start.
She is particularly well suited to beginners and younger students, creating an engaging and positive learning environment where pupils feel inspired and motivated to explore music.
Sasha has also volunteered at a playscheme for children with additional needs, where she spent time teaching the foundations of piano playing - an experience she found especially rewarding.
Performing experience
Sasha has received awards at several competitions, including the North London Festival, Around the Globe Music Festival, and most recently the Springboard Music Festival, where she placed second in the Senior Championship.
Her favourite repertoire comes from the Romantic and 20th-century periods, while she is also well-versed in Classical and Baroque styles and the techniques they require.
