Yang Yang is an award-winning concert pianist and passionate educator, whose extensive international training and performing experience she brings directly into her teaching. Drawing on her studies with leading pianists and masterclasses around the world, she helps students of all ages — from beginners as young as six to more advanced students — build strong technique, musical understanding, and expressive confidence. Yang Yang is known for her patient, adaptable, and encouraging approach, creating lessons that are both structured and inspiring, where every student can flourish and discover the joy of making music.
She holds a Bachelor and Master of Music from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, graduating with distinction, and is currently pursuing the prestigious Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music in London under the guidance of renowned pedagogue Norma Fisher. Over the years, she has studied with eminent pianists including Jan Wijn, Enrico Pace, and Frank van de Laar, and has participated in masterclasses with leading artists such as Arie Vardi, Yoheved Kaplinsky, and Boris Berman.
Yang Yang has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician, including solo concerts across the Netherlands, as part of the Amsterdam Piano Trio, and in duo collaborations with cellist Alexander Warenberg. She has also been recognized with numerous awards, including the Marina Bondarenko Memorial Prize, the Young Pianist International Competition Grand Prix, the Classic Young Masters Award, and multiple prizes from the Steinway Piano Competition.
Alongside her performing career, Yang Yang combines her deep musical training with a patient, fun, and adaptable teaching style, helping students build strong foundations in piano technique, music theory, and artistic expression. She believes that learning music should be both inspiring and enjoyable, and tailors her lessons to the individual goals and interests of each student.

She is adept at breaking down complex musical concepts into clear, understandable steps, creating lessons that are both productive and motivating.
