Will is a dedicated pianist, educator, and performer with a First-Class Degree in Jazz Piano from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. With extensive experience in both classical and jazz piano, he teaches students of all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced players. His teaching approach blends technical excellence with creativity, ensuring lessons are engaging, structured, and tailored to each student's musical journey.
A Passionate and Experienced Educator
With a diverse teaching background, Will currently teaches at Havering Music School, the TriBorough Music Hub, and through his private practice, where he works with children and adults alike. He is experienced in guiding students through classical and jazz piano, music theory, jazz harmony, sight-reading, and ensemble playing. His students have successfully prepared for ABRSM exams, auditioned for prestigious institutions, and developed confidence in their musical abilities.
A Versatile Performer
As an active freelance musician, Will has performed at some of London's most renowned venues, including Ronnie Scott's, The Vortex, and The Roundhouse. He holds a monthly jazz residency at Oxford House Café in Bethnal Green, bringing live music to the local community. His experience as both a performer and recording artist allows him to bring real-world musical insights into his teaching, helping students develop both technical skills and artistic expression.
Will holds an Enhanced DBS Check and has completed safeguarding and child protection training, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for students.
