Flick is a London-based saxophonist who has performed in many of London's most well-known theatres and venues. She is a graduate of the renowned Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she trained under John Harle and Christian Forshaw (BMus Hons - performance major with reed doubling). She also has an MA in Creative Producing. She is skilled in all styles of music, from Baroque to Bebop, and is experienced at teaching all ages and levels from beginners to advanced. In addition to teaching privately and in groups, Flick has also led workshops and worked in a classroom setting.
Flick has enjoyed a varied career so far, performing in plays, musical theatre, opera, and concerts, as well as doing charity work. She has performed at the Shaftesbury, Savoy, and Adelphi Theatres, as well as the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican, Arcola, Southwark Playhouse, Soho Theatre, The Other Palace, and ATG Aylesbury Waterside. She has also recorded for Broadway On Demand. She loves experiencing a range of musical styles and environments, including jazz, classical, theatre, pop, and commercial.
Flick's experience with acting and musical theatre adds depth and flair to her lessons. She is also a professional clarinetist, flutist, pianist, and singer. In addition, she is technically proficient in sound production and music technology. Flick uses all of these skills to make her lessons both engaging and fun by tailoring them to each student's interests.
