Melinda has been a voice, piano and flute coach for prominent artists and musicians including members from the up and coming London based rock band, The Molotovs, who recently supported The Libertines.
She tailors her approach to match the student's musical preferences, fostering creativity and helping them discover their unique style, ultimately boosting their confidence and individuality.
A music graduate from the California Pacific School of The Performing Arts and Musician's Institute (music and theatre), she has been teaching and mentoring aspiring artists and students for over 15 years. She works with the ABRSM, Trinity, and RSL exam curriculums, depending on the student's goals and interests

"My Mother The Monster", and "Gone With The River" and many more. Melinda Ortner has toured the UK, Japan, and North America, opening for Joe Jonas,Miguel and Cobra Starship. She won Best Of Sundance and was chosen as one of 25 hand-picked songwriters to be part of the ASCAP songwriters week in Chicago. She crafted the song, "High On You" for a short film that went on to win in the Loeries Awards and got her first big writing cut in the Kpop world for "Hide And Seek". She was voted Best Of Sundance several years in a row for PCTV and her song "Unspoken" was shortlisted for the Top Gun remake flm starring Tom Cruise.
